A lot of Bitcoin miners know the mining pool Ghash.IO. It’s a mining pool which is also used by all CEX.IO cloud miners, and has been very popular over the past few months. However, we would kindly urge all Bitcoin miners to move away from Ghash.IO for a while.
The GHash.IO mining pool is currently as big as 42% of the entire Bitcoin mining network. That is cutting it awfully close to 51%, and we all know what that could do. If you don’t know , this could lead to a 51% attack on the Bitcoin network, allowing the double spending of Bitcoin and devaluing the currency completely.
So please, as an URGENT NOTE, move your hashpower away from GHash.io, at least temporarily untill the whole network hashrate has spread out a bit more.
