One of the main things about cryptocurrency is that people still find it pretty hard to buy into a coin that is not either Bitcoin or Litecoin.
Even though you can argue that they’ld just have to exchange it, it’s an extra step that a lot of people just aren’t willing to take, for multiple reasons.
It would be a hell of a lot easier if you could buy alternate cryptocurrencies directly, without having to buy Bitcoin first, then transfer it to an exchange & then trade it for your coin.
LiteBit will help in this regard, as they allow the users to buy a plethora of different cryptocurrencies directly, including Bitcoin and Litecoin, but also WorldCoin, DogeCoin and Quark, to name a few.
On LiteBit, you can pay with several methods, such as Sofort (online banking), iDEAL (PC banking for the Netherlands) , Mister Cash (pay with your bank card in Belgium), and GiroPay.
Granted, these payment methods might not be the most common ones, but for many Europeans, this is exactly what we were waiting for.
LiteBit does hold limited stock of all these cryptocurrencies though, for example, they have 5 Bitcoins for sale, and about 8000 WorldCoin.
However, you can also sell your cryptocurrency on LiteBit, if there is a demand for it. That’s not always the case, so you might have to check back at a later point.
All in all, LiteBit looks like a great service, and if I ever have spare money , I will certainly give them a shot.
