Don’t you just hate it when you have to dig up your Cryptsy trade key somewhere, or login to an online wallet to give someone your address? or maybe you still run the regular QT/desktop client for your favourite cryptocurrency?
Do not despair, ladies and germs, as there is a better solution available! The service is called “Addie”, and, well, it stores all of your coin’s addresses. (Catchy name though , I like it!)
Now, it does require a bit of manual work, as you first need to sign up for an Addie account, but they’ll only require an e-mail address and a password.
Once you’ve signed up and logged in to your Addie account, you will see a message saying “You don’t have any addresses yet. add some below”. Oh the manual labour…(it’s meant as a joke)
You can add several different types of cryptocurrency : Bitcoin,Litecoin,Peercoin,Primecoin,Feathercoin,Digibyte,Vertcoin, Quark,DogeCoin,DarkCoin,Namecoin and MintCoin.
As you can see, not all cryptocurrencies are supported (yet), but I’m sure more coins will be added in the future.
So I’ve set up a few addresses, and all you then have to do, is click on “Profile” when you’re in your Addie account, and you’ll get a link like this : http://www.addie.cc/jdebunt .
Definitely a lot easier than remembering a trade key, or having to keep all of your desktop/QT clients open when someone has to send you money.
I really like the service Addie is providing, and would like to thank them for giving us the opportunity to share out cryptocurrency addresses in such an easy way.
