Have you been craving for some more AsiaCoin news? WSo have we! But thankfully, we have received some more information about what projects are in the pipelines. And I have to say, you will be impressed.
Top 3 priorities
The AsiaCoin Web Wallet is currently one of the three top projects in the works. It’s a feature that has been requested by quite a lot of people during recent weeks, and once you used a web wallet, you can see the appeal. No official ETA yet unfortunately.
An AsiaCoin Android Wallet is being worked very hard on as well, and If I can go out on a limb for once, I’d guess we’ll see the Android Wallet finished before the web wallet. I’ll gladly beta test it on multiple devices if the team has the need for it.
Last but not least on the top priority list, is a dedicated X11 multipool for AsiaCoin. Apparently, it seems really hard to get X11 multipools working properly. News around this project is to be expected very soon.
Other features in development
There are a ton of other plans for AsiaCoin’s future as well. They vary from the actual base of the AC code, to more wallet features, and visual upgrades. I copied the following list from the official AsiaCoin thread on BitcoinTalk :
* Rebasing AsiaCoin from a newer, more recent and featurefull fork of Bitcoin/BlackCoin
* Adding staking diagnostics to the AsiaCoin wallets (useful for people who are staking)
* Adding coin control features
* A new visualization feature of staking/transactions
* Redesign of the wallet artwork to focus on its Asian style
* Integrating anonymous transactions (long term)
What I like most about the list above, is the difference made between coin control and long-term anonymous transactions. Definitely food for thought for other developers as well if you ask me. Or maybe It’s just me, who knows?
