A few days ago, I posted an article about MjollnirCoin, which wasn’t very favorable to both the cryptocurrency and its developer. As this coin has been re-launched in the meantime, and everything does seem to work properly now, I want to dedicate this article as an apology to the MjollnirCoin developer and community.
So MjollnirCoin re-launched yesterday, and to great success, I might add. Mining on Windows works flawless with the newly compiled cgminer fork, and so far, I have not had one single issue, except for a small (cron?) job on the 1GH pool that got stuck, but was sorted quickly.
I’ve been mining MjollnirCoin for 22 hours now, and I have gathered 129 confirmed MNR, with about 25 more waiting to confirm in my 1GH pool balance. Considering the fact each block holds 125 MNR, I’m doing pretty well I think.
No exchanges have picked up MjollnirCoin yet, but as the coin only re-relaunched 24 hours ago, we shouldn’t look to sell our coins right away. I’m going to mine some more, until the difficulty becomes too high. You never know how valuable it could become!
