Over the past few months, we have seen an increase in Bitcoin-related job creation. Both major companies, such at HitBTC, BitPay and CoinBase, and smaller companies or individuals alike are on the lookout for employees who are enthusiastic about cryptocurrency. And preferably, they want to take (a part of their salary in) Bitcoin as a payment method. Bitcoin-Vacancy is a recently launched Bitcoin job platform, aiming to bring Bitcoin employers and potential employees together.
Bitcoin-Vacancy is not the first Bitcoin job platform to launch, but it is still one of the very few websites where you can find a Bitcoin employer relatively easy. Similar to websites such as Coinality, Bittask and Jobs4Bitcoin, Bitcoin-Vacancy lets employers list their job offerings for up to 6 weeks, completely free of charge.
Even though this period is already fairly extensive, employers can choose to extend the timer for an additional 0.02 Bitcoin per day. In the event of the Bitcoin-Vacancy placement would not extend, the publish vacancy will be contacted pasturing automatically. All in all, this seems to be a very solid deal for Bitcoin-related companies looking to hire additional staff.
As you would come to expect from a job site, you can filter through the current listings based on keywords, the location of your employer, a specific category and the duration of the contract. Bitcoin-Vacancy offers all kinds of jobs, whether they are on a full-time, part-time, freelance, temporary, internship or partnership basis.
While the Bitcoin-Vacancy platform has only recently launched, there are a few jobs available already. As the platform gains more attention from the Bitcoin and general cryptocurrency communities, we will see more and more employers posting their job offerings here. Considering you can list a vacancy for up to 6 weeks free of charge, posting your job listing on Bitcoin-Vacancy might help you find the right candidate for the job even faster.
I am a big fan of more platforms to find jobs related to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. Bitcoin-Vacancy is a welcome addition to the list, but I do feel the site itself needs some more work. Seeing as how the site is running on WordPress, and the design look rather bland, some more work needs to be done in that regard. But other than that, all of the functionalities are there to make this website a success.
