BTCChina, China’s largest Bitcoin exchange has just completed a round of maintenance. While that might not be as exciting as it sounds, some changes have been made in order to elevate BTCChina from being “just an exchange” to becoming a one-stop Bitcoin service provider.
BTCChina users now have full access to all of the services offered by BTCChina. The exchange part is still there, so nothing has changed in that regard. However, instead of having to create a separate account for the other products and services offered by the platform, one login now gives you access to everything.
As the name suggest, this is BTCChina’s very own mining pool. Not just for Bitcoin however, as users can also mine Litecoin is they wish to do so. Even though the mining pool is not available yet at this point, it is definitely an interesting service being offered by China’s largest Bitcoin exchange.
In little over 5 days, the BTCChina pool will be open to the public, and mining can begin. No information was given on whether or not there will be any fees involved when using the BTCChina Pool, but I assume it will be either relatively little, or maybe even 0%. We will keep an eye out for further information.
A lot of novice users still struggle with the concept of obtaining Bitcoin in an easy, safe and secure manner. BTCChina’s Pay is an advanced “sell-for-cash” feature, making peer-to-peer buying and selling of Bitcoin possible via BTCChina’s mobile application.
This mobile application also works as a regular Bitcoin wallet, so you can just as easily send and receive Bitcoin with it. We have not received word on whether or not there will be fees involved when using BTCChina Pay, but we will keep an eye out for further details.
