You may remember how not too long ago, BurnerCoin was one of the hottest digital currencies on the exchanges. Shortly after, a lot of bad things happened, leading to lots of people losing their money. After a new developer took over, we now have BurnerCoin2.0!
This article is not meant to dwell on the past, but more as a look at the new and improved BurnerCoin2.0. For starters, the source code has been cleaned up, because apparently 2 coins of each mined block went to the developer in the past.
In order to ensure proper anonymity for BurnerCoin2.0 users, Tor has been implemented. Further anonymity features will be developer over time, including BurnerConnect, which was announced by the previous developer, but never came to fruition.
For more details on how BurnerConnect will work, check out this page.
Other plans for the future of BurnerCoin2.0 include the development of an Android Wallet and BurnerDice (a dice game). No word on what will happen to the BurnerCoin Android game, but I assume that project has been put on ice.
As of this writing, a hybrid VPS has been created, which is running both the non-anon and the anon BurnerCoin2.0 wallets side by side. This will remain like this until everyone has downloaded the new client, which can be found here.
We will keep an eye out for more updates about BurnerCoin2.0 and keep our readers informed accordingly.
