The long awaited CinniCoin update has finally arrived ladies and gentlemen. In fact, we have received several updates and timelines during which we can expect more features and projects. Let’s take a look at what was announced!
The biggest and probably most important part about the CinniCoin announcement is all about encrypted messaging, a feature everyone has been waiting for. This is a completely unique feature, and is not found in any other Crypto in existence.
The encrypted messaging system will serve as a framework or protocol within the wallet, allowing for the development of applications. There will be several applications available at launch, positioning CINNI as the leading Crypto for Point-of-Sale systems.
Some more details on how secure encrypted Point-of-Sale commerce are conducted include the following (quoted from the original announcement post, which can be found here) :
1) Encrypted messaging system in client with wallet to wallet messaging platform.
2) Encrypted order form sent wallet to wallet.
3) Encrypted invoice generation sent wallet to wallet.
4) Encrypted receipt delivery sent wallet to wallet.
“Darkcoin and XC coin only anonymize half of the transaction (the actual transfer of payment). The communication between buyer and seller is left wide open and can be intercepted by a third party.”
“There are ways to mitigate the communication risk however the communication risk to anonymity remains more significant than the payment risk to anonymity. The system being developed at CINNI will use the encrypted messaging system to allow CINNI to become the first ever completely anonymous transaction system. “
The encrypted messaging update will be released within the next 10 to 14 days. I have been informed however, that we might see an early release of this feature, possibly even this week, but I’ll keep you updated on that.
Another particularly interesting project that was announced, is the combined wallet, usable for both CinniCoin and Bitcoin. Other features include multiple currency exchange rate support and an in-wallet chat room. The Combined Wallet should be available within 3 to 6 weeks.
Future Release (4-14 weeks)
And the fun doesn’t stop there, as plenty more features and projects have been announced for the future. A retail wallet for example, designed specifically for eCommerce businesses , which is being built on the encrypted messaging platform. This should definitely speed up adoption of CINNI as a payment method.
Inventory management system for tracking supply, built-in in the wallet client is another amazing feature that will help out with the adoption of CinniCoin by merchants. I’ve never seen anything like this, so I’m really excited.
SKU number assignment with SKU pricing and full receivables and reporting features built-in in the CinniCoin client are coming as well. This is turning out to be a one-stop business solution for eCommerce merchants if you ask me.
Last but not least, QR code generation and an export option of data will be developed as well. This will allow merchants to export data from the CinniCoin wallet client over to other systems, such as QuickBooks.
Future release (12-18 weeks)
This update will be an update on the routing of encrypted messages. There will be optional anonymity features for the “consumer” wallet. Basically, this will allow for features similar to what DarkCoin and XC offer at this point.
Other than that, we will also see optional anonymization of data and messages, by using “messagenodes” in combination with “masternodes” (which are both paid in TX fees and will be required to hold and stake CinniCoin).
As you can see, some major things have been announced, and the future is looking bright for CinniCoin. We will keep you updated as we receive more information in regards to these (and other) projects.
