While there is still a ton of controversy and outrage surrounding certain members who participated in the BitBay ICO, the actual project and development is still going on as we speak. A demo video of smart contracts has been provided by David Zimbeck, and he also unveiled some more details about his involvement in the BAY project.
David Zimbeck feels he has been manipulated to get into the project, while the exact goal of the people trying to bring him in, was just to tarnish and potentially even destroy his reputation. After all of the information that has been unveiled as of late, you have to admit he might have a point.
David would also like to point out he is moving any conversation in regards to the BitBay project, except for major announcements, away from BitcoinTalk. BitcoinTalk has a questionable reputation of moderation to say the least, and as there seem to be a lot of people out there creating shill accounts to cause mischief and harm, things are definitely getting out of hand there.
Any constructive criticism and discussions can be held over at the BitBay Reddit page, as well as on Trello. After all, the focus for BitBay should be on the technical side and development of this project, and BitcoinTalk is most certainly not the place for those conversations.
Everything that has occurred to BitBay before all of this information was revealed, was carefully planned and calculated by a handful of people. In order to stand up for what he believes in, David Zimbeck will do what he does best : prove them wrong by developing the tools he promised, and which he believes will make the cryptocurrency world a better place.
The first step on that road comes in the form of a demo video, showing off smart contracting:
