It has been about a week since we last had an update from the Halcyon developers. As they are working hard on several new features at once, this was to be expected. They did find time to provide us with an update earlier today though, so let’s take a look!
The PeerSend wallet GUI is finished, and everything seems to be working so far. This means users will no longer have to use the console to enable PeerSend transactions. I can imagine a lot of Halcyon community members will be pleased with this news. No official release ETA was provided at this point in time.
Halcyon masternode payouts are currently in beta testing. As we mentioned in our previous HAL article, which you can find here, users running a masternode will receive a small amount of Halcyon for their services. We have no idea how long the beta testing will last, but we will let you know as soon as we find out.
In other news, the Halcyon website is almost completed, and the store back-end code is being tested as we speak. I’m really looking forward to seeing the HAL marketplace in action, but no official release date was announced just yet.
There will also be an updated Halcyon roadmap which is expected to be revealed over the coming 24-72 hours. Some more developmental plans have been added , but we did not receive any further information as of this writing.
