If you have been paying attention to the articles we post here on CryptoArticles (which you won’t find anywhere else!), you may have noticed we’ve been talking about Karma for quite some time. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, check out these articles here and here.
Today, we can bring you some more awesome news about Karma, as this altcoin has now officially switched to the X11 algorithm. This change has been announced for a while now, and the transition took place yesterday at block 255,000. Make sure to upgrade your Karma wallet if you haven’t done so already. Download links can be found here.

Keeping in mind this change is coming on the heels of Karma “coming back from the dead” on the MintPal exchange, as its Bitcoin market was dropped. As a result, this altcoin was moved down to the Litecoin market, where it remained for quite some time. Recently though, Karma was moved back to the Bitcoin market a few weeks ago. As far as I can remember, this hasn’t happened to any other altcoin before, so its definitely a feather in the cap of Karma.
But there is more good news for Karma! As you can read in our previous articles (which we linked at the top) , they have a search engine called Lill. A French venture capitalist is very interested in buying the LIll search engine for the price of $6,200,000, which is a phenomenal amount to be fair. This deal is not set in stone at this point, as there are still some things that need to get ironed out.
What we can tell you though, is how the venture capital breakdown looks like :
‘- $1,200,000 will be paid in cash for the Lill website, domain m intellectual property (including the assignation of any current agreements like our Yahoo agreement)
– An additional $5,000,000 after 5 years if the site reaches certain audience targets (TBA after agreement is official)
100% of profits would of course go to members of Karmashares LLC according to their profit percentage, minus expenses for the iPOCO that currently total in the mid four-figures. (Edit: This is not Karmashares debt but my own expenses for this project. If my Lill iPOCO sells for millions I would like to be reimbursed for my expenses, if members agree. However, as stated before it is not something that is owed to me.)
