Some of our loyal readers may remember the fact we did a few articles on a fairly unknown altcoin called KryptKoin. Their current project, the KryptKoin Marketplace, is still under development, and some updates have been posted, so let’s take a look!
Do keep in mind there is still a lot of work that needs to be done. For example, the payment process, as well as the download activation process after the payment is completed, are still not working properly. A certain bug keeps popping up, but the developers are looking into it as we speak.
The dedicated checkout page has been removed, compared to screenshots we have seen earlier. Payments are now executed directly on the product page, but for now, only Bitcoin payments can be selected, but not yet executed, as the code isn’t working yet.
The KryptKoin payment option and API is still being worked on, as it requires a bit more work than one might think. Once completed, buyers will have various options to pay in the cryptocurrency of their choice, whether it’s Bitcoin, KryptKoin or potentially even other altcoins.
No official date for completion of the KTK API can be given as of this writing, but a new demo video will be posted once the coding is finished. A demo KTK payment through a product page will be shown in the next demo video as well.
Speaking demo videos, you can view the current demo video below (Please select 720p quality to remove as much blur as possible) :
In other KryptKoin news, a new merchant is now accepting KTK payments through CoinPayments. BrieHost offers web hosting and domain registration in exchange for cryptocurrency payments. Check out their website here.
