It has been relatively quiet where Minerals has been concerned, but apparently there is a good reason for that. From what we can gather, the developers are working on anonymity features, and a new Twitter tipbot is available. Let’s take a closer look!
After conducting a poll regarding which features the Minerals community wants to see developed next, it was clear that a lot of people want anonymity features. Not too many details have been made available at this point however, so we will have to wait and see how Minerals will achieve anonymity. I sincerely hope they steer as far away from Tor as possible though.
Regarding these anonymity features, a post has surfaced on MorningMinerals, claiming these features will be partially based on CloakCoin’s Proof-of-Stake Anonymity. An interesting approach to say the least.
A new MIN Twitter tipbot is up and running. Just send out a tweet, include the hashtag #MIN, include a wallet address and you will receive free Minerals in your wallet. THis process can be repeated every 3 hours, and the amount of MIN received depends on the amount of Twitter followers. As I have over 1,600 followers, I should try this out, don’t you agree?
