For our final article of the day before I pass out on the couch, I want to tell you about MultiWallet’s anonymity feature. As we mentioned a few days ago, this is a completely unique anonymity solution, so let’s find out what this is all about!
MultiWallet’s anonymity solution is called MultiShift, and it uses a different transaction address for every time you send or receive MWC. This way, transactions will be visible on the blockchain, but very hard, if not impossible, to tie to a certain user.
In order to use MultiShift, all you have to do is click the “MultiShift” button in your MWC client, and a random address will be generated. If you do not click the “MultiShift” button, your transaction will be sent from your regular MultiWallet address. Am I glad to see there are no console commands involved in this process!
