As we mentioned in yesterday’s article, CloakCoin has made some more announcements about what is in store for the future. I have to say it looks very impressive so far, so let’s do a short recap of what was announced!
Let’s start off with the CloakSend (anonymity) feature, which is currently about 85% completed. A working prototype version will be released today, which also means testing will start later today. We will keep an eye out for testing results, don’t worry.
A CloakCoin wallet update, which will have CloakSend integrated, should be released tomorrow, Friday the 13th, which is right on schedule. As more exchanges add a CLOAK trading pair, the diminishing centralized effect will happen as CloakSend becomes more and more refined.
Another very interesting project is called CloakTrade, which will allow users to buy CloakCoin directly from their wallet. CloakTrade is currently 75% completed, and is expected to be released either this weekend, or early next week at the latest.
I did mention yesterday that there will be two additional projects, which will be unique in the world of Crypto. On top of that, two other features have been announced, which are not unique , but still very interesting to have for CloakCoin users.
CloakDocs will give users the ability to send any document from one client to another , securely and safely. In very short terms, this feature enabled encrypted document sending. A CloakDocs whitepaper will be released next week.
CloakPay on the other hand, will allow merchants who are accepting CloakCoin, to benefit from users who enable subscription payments for their services. Payments will be made on a pre-determined date for as long as the user determines. A whitepaper on CloakPay wil be released soon as well.
CloakTalk will be a feature which enables encrypted messaging, by offering secure peer-2-peer messaging between CloakCoin clients. This is a feature that is currently also being developed by CinniCoin, and has seen some excellent community feedback.
Last but not least, we have The CloakRoom, which are encrypted chat rooms comparable to IRC-style communications. Sent messages will be encrypted in the user’s wallet, allowing worldwide communication with higher levels of security.
Looking at everything I just mentioned, you can’t not be impressed by the hard work and sheer volume of features and projects CloakCoin brings to the table. We will keep an eye out for any further developments, and keep our readers updated accordingly.
