It wouldn’t be a fun day in the world of Crypto and digital currencies without some more news from the VeriCoin team, right? More VRC Android wallet screenshots and the beta soon, wallet-based coin sending via SMS, and other things!
The main topic for me is the VeriCoin Android Wallet. As we reported in our previous article, which you can find here, the developers showed off a screenshot of how it would look. We are in luck today, as two more screenshots were posted.
Even though screenshots are great, the meaning behind the image tells the bigger story. The way things look now, you will be able to use the VeriBit feature in the VeriCoin Android wallet too. That, ladies and germs, is big , big news.
How awesome would it be to pay for a Bitcoin order using VeriCoin’s Android Wallet? That is, if you have any VeriCoin to begin with, of course! But still! It’s a pretty neat functionality, assuming it will work the way we all hope it will.
The VeriCoin Android wallet beta phase is scheduled for next week. No word on whether this will be a private or public beta, but it’s exciting news nonetheless! We will keep you updated as we receive more information.
In other VeriCoin news, the developers are currently working on a new feature which will allow users to send funds from the VRC wallet to a phone number. From what I can gather, this will work for mobile phone numbers, but no word on whether it will be available worldwide or not.
A screenshot of this feature was posted on Twitter, which you can find here
Another round of great things coming from the VeriCoin team,. We will keep an eye out for any further announcements, and keep our readers updated accordingly.
