A rather short but powerfully worded update has been posted by Rofo, the NobleCoin developer. Even though this is not the “big” announcement everybody is waiting for, it does put some things in perspective. Let’s do a quick recap.
Generous bounties (either in NOBL or Bitcoin) will be offered to anyone in the Crypto space who is working on projects, and wants to collaborate with NobleCoin. This is not about coin wars, e-peen or egos; this is a genuine invitation to incorporate great ideas into NobleCoin.
Developers and service providers can provide their skillset either publicly or privately. As we have seen a lot of confusion & commotion when some developers work in multiple coins, it’s a matter of personal choice.
More members, developers and ambassadors are needed for NobleCoin. In order to support all of this though, more funding will be needed as well. The target is no longer the internal altcoin scene, but getting the NOBL brand recognized externally as professional real-world Crypto/NOBL ambassadors.
The NobleCoin Marketplace has seen over $25,000 in orders in its first five months. Considering NobleCoin is not that popular (which is a shame!), I really think they did well, despite exchanges going down, waiting on gold & bullion licensing, etc.
More development will be done on the MarketPlace , and we will see many new features. For example : multiple payment platforms for NOBL, multi-vendor support, digital;art ;blueprint & e-book sales, and much more.
We can also expect a lot of updates coming to the NobleCoin wallet (social channels, multisig, NobleBit,…) and an overhaul of the promotional & marketing tools. Noble-branded cufflinks sound very interesting though! Do want!
Honestly, the document is written far better than I can sum it up here. Make sure to check out the official NobleCoin July 2014 update here :
