Pesa After receiving several requests to do an article about , a recently released digital currency, the time has come to do something with it. Pesa labels itself as an anonymous Crypto, so let’s see how they are planning to tackle this situation.
Pesa is not here to compete with the hundreds of different altcoins out there, as the team aims to replace each and every single one of them. By using the X13 algorithm and Proof-of-Strength (which we’ve seen in GuerillaCoin) , Pesa should be a pretty resilient Crypto.
Another thing worth of note can be found in regards to the future Pesa development. As the team wants to use a community-centric approach, the community can decide on which features they would like to see developed next. I wonder what they will come up with?
As Pesa has no pre-mine or IPO, the developers will rely on community donations in order to pay for projects (should that be needed at some point). For more information about the donation address, click here.
A roadmap for Pesa has been published as well, showing us what we can expect in the future. The next step is Tor integration combined with multisig. No official ETA has been given yet, but we will keep an eye out for further announcements.
Other projects announced in the Pesa roadmap include the integration of smart contracts, fully customized mobile wallets (for both iOS and Android) and a bigger focus on Marketing and PR. More announcements will be made in due time.
There are thinga that worry me about Pesa however. The website does not work, there are no social media accounts connected to this digital currency, and there seems to be no real interest to get a MAC wallet compiled. Not a good sign is it?
Let’s take a look at the Pesa technical specifications :
