One of the upcoming Syscoin projects a lot of community members and investors are looking forward to is called BlockMarket, a decentralized peer-to-peer marketplace where you can buy and sell goods and services with SYS. We have seen some interesting developments regarding this projects thanks to the several Syscoin community members, and the SYS developers have now officially unveiled BlockMarket to the public.
For those among you who have not yet heard of the BlockMarket project, this is Syscoin’s decentralized marketplace service built on bitcoin blockchain technology. Users can purchase goods or services from independent sellers, and sellers can offer their goods and services for a nominal fee when comparing this service to other cryptocurrency marketplaces in existence.
More importantly, there are several goodies available on BlockMarket already, thanks to the Syscoin developers. Grab your Syscoin T-Shirt, Syscoin Hard Wallet (made from metal, perfect for cold storage) and Syscoin USB wallet (32 MB capacity) ; as well as goods and services (to be) offered by independent sellers.
As things stand right now, Syscoin’s BlockMarket is being thoroughly tested on the testnet, and all of the wires are being connected in order to prepare it for a public release. No official ETA has been given on when BlockMarket will be available, but we will keep our readers updated as we receive more information from the developers.
In the meantime, here is a picture sent to us by the Syscoin development team earlier today:
