As I mentioned a little while ago,SummerCoin would turn into SummerCoinV2, including a new algorithm and a new main developer. After the rebrand launch went fairly well, let’s check back in and see how SUM2 is performing.
I would like to start off this article by saying that SummerCoinV2’s main Proof-of-Work phase will be ending in roughly 48 hours, and staking will commence in roughly 24 hours. I love me some nice steak…erh…stake, don’t you?
Some more details about the future for SummerCoinV2 have been announced as well. The developer is looking into implementing anonymous feature in the SUM2 client, by using Navajo Anonymous Technology.
If that name doesn’t ring a bell, you have no reason to worry. This is named after the unbreakable Navajo code which surfaced during World War II. This code was used to encrypt highly classified military information.
At this point in time, we don’t really know what to expect from the Navajo Anonymous Technology. What we do know is that , according to the developer, “it is state-of-the-art technology to cater to the purpose of today’s transferring of information P2P over the blockchain, highly anonymous and secretive.”
More information about this technology will be unveiled over the course of the coming weeks, and we will keep our readers in the loop accordingly.
SummerCoinV2 is currently trading on BitTrex, at the price of roughly 250 Satoshi per coin.
