Bitcoin ATM news keeps popping up all over the globe it seems, even though most of the action seems to be focusing on Europe. After news about Bitcoin ATMs in the United States, Portugal, Italy and The Netherlands this week, Finland is now getting the spotlight as Bittiraha’s Bitcoin ATMs serve 33% of the country’s population now.
Bittiraha, a Finnish Bitcoin startup manufacturing and selling one-way BItcoin ATM machines (called Bittimaatti). Users can buy BItcoin through these machines by inserting Euro bills. Customers are not yet able to sell their BItcoin in exchange for Euros at this point, but this feature is available at Bittiraha’s online service.
