BlackCoin Podcast “BlackCast” Episode 1

This night, the first BlackCast episode was broadcasted and published on the internet. BlackCast is the BlackCoin Podcast, which will (normally) be airing each and every week, featuring BlackCoin developers, marketing people, and a host.

On the first BlackCast episode, there were five different people included : WizRig (aka WizFarm), Soepkip, Gritt-N-Auld, TheDogeOfWallSt and StGNU. A very cool and interesting panel for the premiere!

BlackCoin Multipool Once Again Most Protfitable To Mine

It looks as if BlackCoin is turning another page in its busy history of events. Even though there is nothing but sheer awesomeness coming from their community, investors still want to keep dumping BlackCoin on exchanges.

This has also in part to do with the official BlackCoin Multipool being DDosed a little while ago, which we reported here, and thus not creating as high of a buying volume on exchanges as it would otherwise.

Coordinated DDoS Attacks After Social Engineering Cause Issues For BlackCoin Miners

The BlackCoin Multipool has suffered some serious downtime over the past 24 hours. The issue is still not completely resolved, as a lot of miners still can’t connect to the BlackCoin Multipool. Here is the official statement of what happened.

The server is back offline after a strategic and coordinated DDoS attack, this time with more sophistication.

We had upgraded to the full-scale DDoS protection plan provided by Cloudflare, in addition to StGNU configuring his own set of anti-DDoS mechanisms however the attackers used social engineering to play on his “good guy” side in order to get the new IP address.  Read more...

CryptoAlts Allows BlackCoin Mining Through X11 Algorithm

Once again, there is a very interesting development in regards to BlackCoin. Or, to be more precise, in regards to how you can “mine” BlackCoin. Are you interested yet? You won’t be disappointed, trust me.

One of the minor grievances I’ve had with the BlackCoin Multipool from day one, is the fact they only allow Scrypt and SHA-256 mining. Don’t get me wrong, I can mine Scrypt perfectly fine with my 2 GPU’s. But still….

No need to worry any more though, as you can now also mine BlackCoin through the X11 mining algorithm. Not on the BlackCoin Multipool directly, but on CryptoAlts, which also happens to have a BlackCoin multipool.  Read more...

What Is Going On With BlackCoin?

For the final article of the day, I want to give a bit of the spotlight to BlackCoin. There have been some concerns among the community about the Multipool, and the price on exchanges keep dropping as well. What is going on?

BlackCoin Multipool Future Plans Revealed, Going Live on Black Friday

The plans for the BlackCoin Multipool have been laid out, and it would be best if all of us took a look at them, because there are some very interesting things in there!

There are a few issues on the BlackCoin Multipool that will need fixing before it launches as a “finished” service. These things include showing the proper hashrate, profitability , payout and share rate for all miners.
