It’s time for some more updates from the CloakCoin developers. In case you missed it, CloakTrade is currently in open beta, and can be used via the CloakCoin client. More seed nodes were added as well. let’s take a look.

CloakCoin Developer Addresses Network Stability Issues

The CloakCoin developer has posted an interesting update today, during which he addresses the network stability issues over the past few days. A lot of problems and solutions were discussed, so let’s take a look!

Whenever the network hash of CloakCoin drops, users’ wallets go out of sync, and CloakCoin forks. In order to fix there, the next CloakCoin wallet will feature a DNS seeder which is not restricted to 2 seednodes.

This will also prevent the CloakCoin seednodes from being flooded, and thus the wallet syncing issues , as well as the spawning of multiple blockchain forks, will not occur anymore. No official ETA has been given on when the update will be released.  Read more...

You Decide Which Feature Is Next For CloakCoin!

Even though the CloakCoin development team is currently working hard on CloakTrade, they are also looking to the future. Three new projects have been proposed, and the community gets to vote on which one of them gets the highest priority.

CloakDocs is up first, and we have mentioned this feature briefly before in one of our previous CLOAK articles. CloakDocs will allow users to safely transfer documents peer-to-peer, in the knowledge they are kept away from prying eyes.  Read more...

New CloakCoin Multipool, CloakTrade Video And Website Update

The CloakCoin developers team have been working hard on getting some more CLOAK-related news out there over the past 24 hours. Not only is there a new video showing off Tor confirmation and the CloakTrade latest features, but we also have a new multipool and update regarding the website!

Let’s start off with the website. Over the coming days, you might experience some downtime when trying to access the CloakCoin website. CloudFlare protection is being set up to get the multipool in their subdomain.  This process usually doesn’t take too long, so most of you won’t even experience any downtime.  Read more...

New CloakCoin Features Include In-Wallet Trading, Encrypted Messaging, Subscription Payments And More!

As we mentioned in yesterday’s article, CloakCoin has made some more announcements about what is in store for the future. I have to say it looks very impressive so far, so let’s do a short recap of what was announced!
