The nature of the supply associated with Ripple’s XRP has long been debated, and now it looks like major cryptocurrency market tracking sites are in disagreement over the circulating supply of the world’s highest-valued altcoin. On Tuesday, Forbes made waves across Crypto Twitter when it announced that it had updated the circulating supply of XRP […]
The price of Nexo (NEXO), a cryptocurrency-backed loan platform, is up 25% over the last 24 hours to $ 0.092 after it announced a new collaboration with leading crypto index website CoinMarketCap to integrate a “Get Loan” button directly on the site. Nexo is happy to announce the direct result of @CoinMarketCap’s only collaboration with a crypto-backed lender. […]
Cryptocurrency monitoring site Coinmarketcap appears to be mulling the idea of allowing users to vote on which assets it should track.
Users Could Influence Listings
In a Twitter survey released September 12, the site, which has become a stalwart reference resource for cryptoasset prices and other related data, asked followers whether they “would be interested” in influencing future listing decisions.
At press time, 60 percent of the nearly 5000 respondents had accepted the offer, with 30 percent claiming they had no interest in doing so. A mere 10 percent said they would not like to have the opportunity.

Coinmarketcap.com (CMC) is one of the industries best pals for when it comes to market and trend data. CMC exists on an easy to use website and mobile app that makes crypto data research as easy as it can be.
A “price calculation error” on CoinMarketCap led the site to list inflated prices for several coins on the platform.
Coinmarketcap (CMC), the popular cryptocurrency markets tracker portal, has launched a professional-grade API for aggregated market data and added support for derivatives markets as part of a major quarterly overhaul of its operations.
CoinMarketCap, one of the most popular crypto data tracking websites, announced a new pro-level and fee-based API on Wednesday.
In the last 24 hours, $ 7 billion worth of bitcoin (BTC) was traded globally. That’s according to data provided by Coinmarketcap, the industry’s go-to aggregator of cryptocurrency data. Not everyone agrees with that figure however. “Honest Coinmarketcap” is a new project that aims to set the record straight and do away with inflated trade volumes.
Coinmarketcap (CMC) has released its first-ever mobile app. The cryptocurrency price and market capitalization website announced the release of the app on April 30. The launch of the app is part of CMC’s five-year anniversary celebration.
The Coinmarketcap App for iPhones
The new CMC mobile app is compatible with the iOS smartphone platform. It enables users to view crypto price, market cap and 24-hour price changes on the go. App users can select from a variety of filter options to see all tokens, the top 100 tokens or their watchlist tokens.
It can be challenging enough to keep up with the fast-paced world of cryptocurrencies and their price fluctuations. The challenges can be compounded when you cannot find a consistent source for these prices and the vital statistics used to make informed trading decisions.
Following a frenzy of activity over the weekend which pushed the total crypto market capacity over $ 800 billion and shut down several exchanges to new users, analytics website CoinMarketCap arbitrarily decided not to include data from South Korean exchanges.
A few days ago, we have taken a first glance at NuBits, a very stable cryptocurrency from a price point perspective. The Nu team has worked hard on this project, and continues supporting this currency with everything they have. But NuBits is not their only project, as they have also created NuShares.
In some ways, NuShares are the exact opposite of NuBits. Whereas NuBits is all about price stability at the US$1.00 mark, NuShares wants to offer something to the cryptocurrency speculators, as it can appreciate in value.
So there appears to be a lot of controversy going on about URO these past few days. Even though this digital currency has always been scrutinized very closely, no actual harm came from it. Something must have changed, so let’s look at it together, shall we?
I do understand the concept of URO is extremely difficult to grasp for nearly everyone out there. The part we all understand is how 1 URO equals 1 metric tonne of Urea (fertilizer used for 50% of the world’s food production). But who really understands the concept besides what URO represents, and how much the coin is actually worth?
The least we can say is that it has been a very exciting week for CloakCoin, a recently launched X13 Crypto. Having reached a milestone on CoinMarketCap, and the multipool nearing its completion, who knows what will be next?
Despite only being launched a week ago, CloakCoin has already reached its first milestone on CoinMarketCap, as the 1 million US Dollar cap was reached and surpassed. A total increase of over 65% mind you.
Partial reason for this are the fair launch of CloakCoin by having no instamine or pre-mine, a limited mining period of under a week, and offering anonymous features via exchanges, which is something unique in the world of Crypto.
CoinMarketCap is becoming quite the busy bee lately it seems. That’s a good thing though, as it brings more awareness to all kinds of different cryptocurrencies.
The latest round of additions to CoinMarketCap includes the following :
All great coins, with unlimited potential for the future. Thanks again to CoinMarketCap for all their hard work!
While this may seem like a small step for most people, getting your cryptocurrency listed on CoinMarketCap is pretty significant.
This could also mean that a big exchange (Cryptsy, if you read this, get on it!) will add NobleCoin in the (near) future.
I never expected it to make the top 25 on CoinMarketCap in fairness. However, looking back at CoinMarketCap today, it’s nearly in the top 10, which is absolutely amazing for a coin that a lot of people never took seriously. Oh boy were we wrong….
It wouldn’t be the first time that CoinMarketCap had an issue with some coin’s value. We’ve seen it happen a few times recently, where the price just goes to “?” instead of an actual value.
We will keep you updated as we find out more….
