DigitalCoin Developer Changes, Major CryptoAve Overhaul

It has been a while since we last did an article about DigitalCoin. Today is the day where we have some big news in regards to this altcoin, but I’m not sure if its news anyone expected. Baritus, the DigitalCoin developer, is stepping down.

As Baritus stated on the DigitalCoin forums : “As of this moment, I am passing on all lead development responsibilities to the Digitalcoin foundation (http://digitalcoin.foundation). I will no longer be developing the new versions, that responsibility will be up to the developers in the foundation. CryptoAve Announces Trading API, Mechant Services, Hedging Services And Additional Crypto Trading Pairs

We have some more news coming from CryptoAve today. Since re-opening a few weeks ago, it has been relatively quiet around this exchange, but some plans for expansion have been revealed, so let’s take a look!

To start things off, CryptoAve will open up a full API, so you grab any trading data you are interested in. The trading APi is expected to be completed on June 15th, but is subject to change.

Payment Processing (read : Merchant Services) will be available from June 22nd. This will allow merchants , as well as individuals, to accept Crypto payments for a very low fee. More details will be announced soon.  Read more...

Three New DigitalCoin Projects : DigiMart, Point-of-Sale System and DigitalCoin ATMs

There have been some interesting announcements coming from the DigitalCoin corner. After the re-opening of the CryptoAve exchange, there wasn’t as much of an impact on the DigitalCoin price as anticipated. So let’s see what’s new!

No less than three new major DigitalCoin projects have been unveiled, and they all look very interesting to say the least. A Point-of-Sale system, DigitalCoin ATM’s and DigiMart are all in the works as of this writing;

Let’s start off with DigiMart. You may (or may not) recall a service called CoinMart, which had several people invest funds into that project. People who own shares in CoinMart, will also own shares in the new DigiMart project.  Read more...

CryptoAve Exchange Back In Business

We have some long-awaited good news coming from the DigitalCoin camp. As you may recall, the CryptoAve exchange was forced to shut down about a month ago, after hackers attempted to hack the exchange and steal funds.

Today, the CryptoAve exchange has opened it doors to the public again, and trading can resume like usual. All users have to re-register their old accounts though. CryptoAve Issues Caused By HeartBleed Bug , Re-Opening Soon

It has been pretty quiet around CryptoAve, the exchange ran by Baritus, creator of DigitalCoin & SecureCoin, who also manages the Argentum crypto currency.

If you don’t remember, CryptoAve launched earlier this year, and was forced to shut down within a month of its existence, because there were some security vulnerabilities detected. No user information was leaked, but this was done as precautionary measure.

Is Someone Deliberately Attacking Crypto Exchanges?

The CoinEx exchange has been under maintenance for nearly 36 hours now, due to a “security issue” they have to investigate.

Now, I’m not in favor of spreading any rumours here, but I , like many others, also have some funds there that I want to access as soon as possible.

However, don’t you guys find it intriguing that both CryptoAve and CoinEx have gone into maintenance mode in a span of about 48 hours?

CryptoAve Launched – Digitalcoin-SecureCoin-Argentum-Bitcoin-Litecoin And More!

The long wait is finally over, ladies & gentlemen, because the long-awaited CryptoAve exchange is finally open for business!

CryptoAve saw its planned release being pushed back a few times, mostly because of issues beyond CryptoAve’s control such as the Bitcoin Malleability issue.

CryptoAve allows you to perform several exchanges, such as :

– DigitalCoin/SecureCoin/Argentum/Bitcoin/Litecoin/PeerCoin to/from USD

– DigitalCoin/SecureCoin/Argentum/Litecoin/PeerCoin to/from Bitcoin

DigitalCoin Developer Testing Bitcoin Malleability Fix

You may have heard of DigitalCoin developer Baritus, who is working on CryptoAve, an exchange for DigitalCoin, Argentum, Securecoin, and also Bitcoin.

Now, in order to launch a new exchange, you need to make sure that everything is secure. Because of the recent issues with Bitcoin, that is not the case.

Considering no one else has come up with a fix (yet), Baritus is currently testing his own fix for the Bitcoin malleability issue.

No further details on the technical aspects of this fix are known at this point, but we will keep you updated.  Read more...

CryptoAve Launching Next Week!

CryptoAve, the Digitalcoin/SecureCoin/Argentum exchange we have been talking about , now has an official release date.

February 10th will be the day when we can trade DigitalCoin, SecureCoin and Argentum against US Dollars.

CryptoAve shares will also be sold and traded against DigitalCoin.

Many of us have been anxiously awaiting the open beta for CryptoAve. Stop looking at me like that you ignorant twit, you know what CryptoAve is, right? No? Oh boy….here we go then.
