Bitcoin can be used to pay employees in all different kinds of areas. Mixed martial arts might not be in the top 10 of “types of employees” looking to get paid in Bitcoin but that isn’t keeping Jon Fitch from sticking with the digital currency. In fact, Jon is the first MMA fighter to be fully paid in Bitcoin. Quite an interesting turn of events, but it seems to work out quite well.
We have some more interesting news from the NautilusCoin team. After the successful partnership with MMA-star Jon Fitch (who won his fight!), the team is now looking at the road ahead, so let’s look over their shoulder!
The NautilusCoin developer is looking into making this digital currency switch over to Proof-of-Stake. The network is vulnerable for a big miner to execute a 51% attack if he/she wanted to do so. More information about this switch will be posted at a later date.
While watching the World Cup 2014 game between Italy and Costa Rica, I saw a Tweet appear that is both amazing and awesome at the same time. NautilusCoin will sponsor a well-known MMA star for his upcoming fight!
One of the many reasons why this is awesome, is because I myself am a MMA fan. The MMA star in question is Jon Fitch, whose name will ring a bell for several people reading this. His next fight will take place July 5th, and will be broadcasted on NBC.
