Breaking: Microsoft Partners With Ankr Network To Offer Enterprise Services

According to a press release shared with Bitcoinist, big tech giant Microsoft partnered with Ankr Network to launch a hosting service. The product will allow companies to access blockchain data via a “reliable, easy-to-use” platform.

According to the release, the service will be available via Microsoft’s cloud solution, Azure Marketplace. The product was created to provide enterprises with an “accessible gateway to blockchain infrastructure.”

Microsoft Azure Now Supports RSK Smart Contracts

RIF Labs has announced the integration of its public blockchain, RSK Smart Contracts, on Microsoft's Azure Marketplace. The RSK Smart Contract Network is an open-source platform that seeks to extend the functionality of Bitcoin using smart contracts and the Azure Marketplace is an app store for Microsoft’s cloud computing service.

Prior to the integration, RIF Labs customers had to deploy local servers while manually setting up and maintaining nodes for running the blockchain. With the addition of RSK Smart Contracts on the marketplace, users can have an RSK blockchain network set up in minutes via Azure.  Read more...

65% Of Firms Prefer IBM Blockchain Over Microsoft, Others

IBM enjoys the most trust from Corporate America when it comes to enterprise blockchain solutions, and it’s not even close when comparing the rest of the pack. That’s according to Sept. 2018 survey by Juniper Research which found that 65% of respondents would choose IBM Blockchain to deploy distributed ledger technology (DLT) and similar solutions.

Runner-up Microsoft garnered just 7% of the votes. Other companies on the list include Accenture, Deloitte and Oracle.
