If you read our previous DigitalCoin article, which you can find here, you may remember the DigitalCoin Foundation would take over development of DGC. Two days ago, they posted the upcoming changes, so let’s take a look!
Some massive changes are coming to DigitalCoin. First of all, the DigitalCoin Foundation will remove the Scrypt-only mining algorithm in favor of a multi-algorithm solution. From what we know at this point in time, the supporter mining algorithms will be Scrypt, SHA-256 and X11. More importantly, the rate of daily produced DGC will drop by 66%!
