As we mentioned in one of our articles yesterday, Australia definitely making headway when it comes to Bitcoin and digital currency. Even though there is no official legislation in place yet, which is currently being worked on however, other prominent places in the country are starting to work with Bitcoin as a payment method.

While the enquiry into Bitcoin and other digital currencies has been greenlit, Flinders University has become the first Australian-based university to accept Bitcoin payments. Even though it is only used to pay for two entrepreneurial courses, it’s another notch in Bitcoin’s belt.
