The HTC Exodus 1 phone, introduced at the Consensus conference in May, is now available for pre-order on early access. Primarily aimed at the development community, the scheme only allows payment for the blockchain-enabled model using bitcoin or ethereum.

A new mobile phone has been announced by HTC which has been dubbed the Exodus. The phone is designed to handle blockchain applications.
However, if you want this phone there is a catch… you can only buy the phone in the digital currency.
To the naked eye, the device is just a standard Android phone however, it also acts as a node on the HTC blockchain and has its own cryptocurrency wallet called Zion. The wallet has a social recovery feature in case the phone is lost,meaning that selected contacts can vouch for the user.

Sikur unveiled a new, security-centric smartphone this week at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. Designed from scratch with security as the primary goal, the company claims that this phone is “the first fully encrypted, hack-proof smartphone that can safely store cryptocurrencies,” Engadget reported.
