Connecticut Software Engineering School Receives $10,000 BTC Donation
During the first week of 2019, Holberton School in New Haven, whose two-year higher education program aims to “drive the digital transformation revolution,” received a large cryptocurrency donation. On Monday it was announced that the cofounder of software suite the Scroll Network, Nathan Pitruzzello, donated $ 10,000 worth of digital currency to the Connecticut school that’s known for recording academic certificates on the BTC chain.

South Korean Business School Launches Crypto MBA Program
A major business school in South Korea is now offering a master’s degree in cryptocurrency. Crypto MBA is a one-and-a-half-year program that covers topics such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, smart contracts, crypto funds, Dapp planning, game theory, and how to write persuasive whitepapers. Meanwhile, the government is working on follow-up crypto regulations.

Seoul School of Integrated Sciences and Technologies, often known as Assist, announced on Friday that it is now offering a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program dedicated to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. The new course is “a master’s degree program in blockchain, cryptoeconomics and token economy courses from technological, cryptoeconomic and business strategic perspectives,” the school described.
Trading Platform Paxful Completes Construction for Second School in Rwanda
Children in the Rwandan village of Kasebigege are being given a greater chance to pursue a sound education as construction on a new school, developed by bitcoin marketplace Paxful, has been completed.
Located in the Bugesera District, the school is a primary institution designed for children between the ages of 6 and 15. It’s Paxful’s second Philanthropic endeavor in the village, and construction was finished roughly one year after the company built a nursery education center in December 2017.
In an interview with Bitcoin Magazine, Ray Youssef — CEO and co-founder of Paxful — says it has always been one of his dreams to build schools for underprivileged children.
