Elon Musk announced in December of last year that he will step down as CEO of Twitter once a replacement is found, but will continue to operate some important divisions of the popular social media network.

He tweeted at the time that he would quit as chief exec as soon as he found “someone foolish enough” to assume the post.

Decentralized ‘Twitter Killer’ Nostr Goes Live On Apple’s App Store

Nostr, an open protocol that promises to substitute centrally-controlled social networks such as Twitter, is now live on the Apple App Store with Damus.

Decentralized social networking protocol Nostr is now officially live on Apple’s app store.

Nostr spiked in popularity after former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey became an enthusiast of the technology, later making a 14 bitcoin donation to its creator. The enthusiasm caused the protocol’s most popular mobile app, Damus, to hit its beta testing limit of 10,000 users –– which would prompt its developers to apply for a formal listing on Apple’s app store. Is Elon Ditching Dogecoin? Twitter Prepares To Launch ‘Coin’ Feature

Rumors have been swirling for quite some time that Elon Musk might launch his own Twitter Coin, possibly putting Dogecoin (DOGE) on the sidelines or even ditching it. Leaks of the Twitter user interface first surfaced in early December, showing the “Coin” feature. A few hours ago, new revelations emerged.

Security researcher and reverse engineering blogger Jane Manchun Wong has uncovered evidence that Twitter could be on the verge of rolling out the new feature.

Binance CEO CZ Hosts Twitter Space, Over 500K Listen In

All eyes are on Binance after the dramatic saga of events that started the FTX unravelling over the past week. Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, commonly known as CZ, took to Twitter Spaces hosted by the Binance Twitter account on Monday.

Over 40,000 listeners tuned in live, and the Space has been listened to over 500,000 times in less than 48 hours. It was CZ’s largest AMA, in terms of both length and audience, and comes at a wild time for the market.
