SilkCoin Mandatory Windows Client Update
Even though we only talked about SIlkCoin yesterday, there is some more news available, as well as a mandatory Windows client update. Plus, its still very cheap to pick up some SilkCoin if you haven’t already.
Let’s start off with the mandatory Windows client update. The new SilkCoin client fixes a debug log error apparently, although I’m not sure how many people that will affect. Either way, it is advised to upgrade your client as soon as possible.

MintCoin Windows Client 1.9.1 Mandatory Update To Fix PoS Bug
The MintCoin developers are quite busy lately, as we see a new version of the MintCoin client released on a regular basis. The most recent Windows version is 1.9.1, so let’s take a look at what has changed or been improved!
There are only 2 changes in this updated client, but one of them is a major fix and makes this is a mandatory update for Windows users :
(1) fixes a critical bug introduced in V1.9 that prevented PoS block generation
(2) alert key updated for future usage
H2OCoin : Smooth Launch Despite Windows Wallet Fix
H2OCoin has been launched yesterday, and I have to say, I’m quite impressed by how smooth it all went. it has been a while since there was no massive issue.
Once the H2OCoin pools went live, none of them seem to have issues with disconnects, DDoS, database issues, or anything like that.
The H2OCoin wallet for Windows installed & synced quickly, but it did need a minor temporary fix in order to sync past a certain block.
However, that temporary fix was released promptly, and the developer is still working on a complete fix for this problem.
