There is no denying technology will play an even more important role in our daily lives over the next few years. As society is slowly transitioning into the Digital Age, more and more daily tasks will heavily rely on technological advancements. So far, it looks like 2016 will be an interesting year for certain technology trends. That being said, it remains to be seen how these forms of technology will impact the daily lives of consumers all over the world.
The Impact of Technology On Your Life in 2016
It is important to keep in mind that not every piece of technology will be as important to all consumers around the world. Even when there might not be a direct need for a certain type of technology, that doesn’t diminish its chance to impact society in the long run. Safer and smarter drones, for example, might not be of immediate value to you or me right now but they may very well change the way events are recorded or how aerial surveillance is conducted.
What will be of tremendous value to consumers all over the world is how our social messaging applications will become a lot wiser. In fact, messaging will transcend its status of sending text and emoticons to other people and evolve into a proper communication tool between man and machine.
Personal assistants will become a major trend starting next year, as they can complete some of the mundane tasks us humans have to complete ourselves right now. It would be a lot easier if we could book flights, restaurant reservations, or even movie tickets, by using a messaging tool, rather than emailing or picking up the phone.
Voice control is something many people still think of as a very niche market. Up until this point, there has been very little use for voice control, other than demanding your TV to switch channels, or consoles to launch certain applications. Popular tools like Siri are becoming smarter and more convenient to use but they are still being used sparsely. That will change come next year, as experts predict a major step forward in intelligence and accuracy for voice-operated electronics.
But perhaps the biggest change will come in the form of an Internet of Things anyone in the world can start to use. Communication between devices we use in our daily lives will be an ever-important evolutionary step for both consumers and electronics. Once our devices start ordering more supplies when their reserves are running low, the everyday person on the street will be hooked by the Internet of Things and what it can do for them.
Impact on Bitcoin Users – Wireless Charging And Virtual Reality
In the Bitcoin world, there are several emerging technology trends that will have an impact on how people see the digital currency. The emergence of virtual reality will be an opportune time to introduce Bitcoin, as content creators will be looking for multiple ways to monetize their content and sell virtual reality creations to the masses. What better way to reach a global audience than by accepting Bitcoin, the global digital currency?
The second most intriguing trend will be the option to enter any location and be able to charge mobile devices wirelessly. There is no point in running a Bitcoin wallet on a phone or tablet if the device battery is not keeping up. Wireless charging on countertops, or building the technology into our furniture, it looks like the time of plugging chargers into wall sockets seems to be coming to a close.
