In case you have been wondering what the VeriCoin team has been up to over the past few months, we have received an update on what has been going on behind the scenes. Oh, and there will be a new client soon too apparently!
During the summer, which is a hard time for cryptocurrency, news and developments in general, the VRC team has been working hard. Strategic partnerships have been made, but no further details were given at this point. I’m sure we’ll find out more soon though.
Both the VeriCoin infrastructure and wallet UI have also been on the priority list. As a result of this, there will be a new VRC client released in the very near future. Once we have an official ETA on this client update, we will let you know. Linux users can grab the new client on GitHub though.
Some minor tweaks and formatting details are being made across all operating systems as we speak, in order to guarantee optimal performance and experience. The final builds for all operating systems will be made available soon.
Once this new VeriCoin client has been released, there will be a new Google Hangout with the developers. Everyone will be informed on the new stuff, what is to come and things happening behind the VRC scenes.
