Vericoin It has been a while since we posted a proper update, and by the looks of things, several projects have launched over the past few days. VeriGlobal is one of those projects, together with a mandatory wallet update , and Vericoin is now active on Diaspora! Letù s do a quick recap of all of these things, shall we?
First of all, we have the VeriGlobal initiative. One of the main ways of promoting your digital currency is by creating native language support for different countries. In order to cater to some of the worldù s biggest cryptocurrency-supporting countries, VeriGlobal has been launched.
So far, five different non-English speaking countries are being represented : France, China, Portugal, Finland and Germany. All of the translations to be found in these Vericoin subforums is done by volunteers, and more languages (such as Russian, Spanish and Japanese) will be added over time.
A mandatory Vericoin client update has been released a few days ago, which fixes a wallet display bug , as well as a version reporting bug. This release comes on the heels of a previous client update, which fixed a protocol vulnerability. Said vulnerability encompassed a buffer in variable interest stake, exploited on a hacked version of the wallet in order to gain more interest per stake.
The last bit of news is in regards to Diaspora, a decentralized social network run by the community. Vericoin will be making use of Diaspora for occasional news and updates. You can join this decentralized social network by clicking here.
