The XC team has released a non-mandatory client update. The purpose of this optional XC update is to allow users who are interested to test out the Xnode feature. A user guide on how this Xnode feature has been released as well.
Keeping in mind the fact that, if you decide to run an Xnode, the feature is still in beta, this might not be useful for everyone. It’s good to see the XC developers publishing the update anyway, because I’m sure there are people who would like to try it.
In order to run an Xnode however, there are quite some steps you have to take. Nothing overly complicated, mind you, but it’s a good thing to have a guide for it in PDF format. You can find a download link to the guide below this article.
Overall, I have to admit I’m pretty impressed with the overall development of XC. Granted, there are quite a few talented developers in the world of Crypto, but the XC team seems to be taking the bull by the horns quite frequently.
We will keep you updated on the XC development status as more projects and/or details are released.
