Even though we have a large and enthusiastic community, to keep Cryptocurrency relevant and push it forward, we need to attract more and more people on a daily basis. If that doesn’t happen, we’ll never see Cryotocurrency adopted by the masses.
One of the challenges enthusiasts and developers have to face, is how to make the whole Cryptocurrency system more accessible for people on the outside. There are several ways to do this, but not all of them are the right approach.
One of them is creating Cryptocurrency memes. Even though memes make me chuckle as much as anyone else, their main purpose is to be funny or to make a pun. Animals usually work best for this kind of approach, because everyone who is right in their head likes animals.
When a Cryptocurrency is named after an animal, it seems like the best of both worlds. However, if it’s not intended as a meme, yet it gets treated like one, it gives that Cryptocurrency a bad name. If it was the case to make a meme coin, mission accomplished. But how do you tell them apart?
Cryptocurrency revolves around money , which is not a topic that shouldn’t be taken seriously. If we start making hard earned money a laughable topic, you don’t belong in the world of Cryptocurrency to be honest.
Therefor, creating something laughable in order to make Cryptocurrency more accessible, is not the way to go. It can be done in a more mature and professional manner, and still remain accessible at the same time.
