“Fair” seems to be the new keyword when announcing the launch of a new Cryptocurrency. Most coin launches are far from fair, even though they claim to be. So let’s see if SmartCoin will have a fair launch, shall we?
You can already reserve some SmartCoin without having to mine them, which is a good start. Everyone can sign up at this link, and you will receive an email once your SmartCoins are available , which will be around the time SmartCoin launches.
But where are these coins coming from the, you wonder? They are coming from a 0.78% pre-mine. Initially this number was nearly 2%, but it has since been lowered due to too many being in circulation from the start. A pre-mine that has been lowered before launch? Interesting.
The rest of the 0.78% pre-mine will be used partially for the SmartCoin faucet, which will also be available at launch. A big portion is reserved for bounties, so developers can get rewarded for their work involving SmartCoin. And of course, you need some SmartCoins on hand for marketing and promotion.
What will make the launch interesting though, is the fact that an Android wallet will be available from the get-go. This is something that’s usually neglected with most coins. However, the SmartCoin launch should also be paired with SmartCoin already being listed on an exchange. No word yet on which exchange this will be though.
