People like you and me, who have (extensive) knowledge of Cryptocurrency, how it works, and how to obtain it, will often find it hard to spread the word to outsiders.
We take several terms, or “lingo”, for granted, and are so accustomed to how everything works, that we overlook the necessary steps to get people to understand what we are saying.
WorldCoin Help, on the contrary, is doing exactly just that : it makes people understand what Cryptocurrency is, by calling it “Digital currency”.
It also explains that there are more opportunities out there than just Bitcoin, albeit that is the name most people will, or should, have heard of by now.
We as a community should support efforts like this, and create more websites talking about how Cryptocurrency compares to paper money, in a manner that everyone can understand. Once that has been established, we can start talking about pro’s and con’s.
Even though the WorldCoin Help website is far from finished, we’ve managed to get some non-tech people to read it, and see the lightbulb above their heads go on.
