We have discussed Grain a few times over the past few weeks, but the tale doesn’t end there. As many altcoins have seen an increase in value, so has Grain, because it’s value has tripled over the past 24 hours.
In case you haven’t heard of Grain yet, feel free to check out the article we wrote about it a while ago.
The reason for the increase of Grain’s price is because there simply aren’t that many people selling their Grain. Albeit Grain is only listed on the CoinedUp exchange for now, the only way the price has gone, is up.
When I received my first Grain (a very generous bounty – thanks guys!) , the price was between 8 and 10 satoshi per Grain. However, that moved up swiftly to around the 14 mark,a nd hovered there for a week or two.
Overnight though, someone decided it was a good time to start purchasing Grain, and the price peaked at 43 satoshi, and has now slightly dipped back to the 36 satoshi mark. All in all, it’s still a tripling of the value in a very short amount of time.
Usually, you would then expect that people are looking to start dumping their Grain, but that isn’t happening. Not because there is a very small supply of Grain, but because the coin has gone by pretty much unnoticed.
It’s worth your while to buy some Grain right now, if you can find someone who’s willing to sell it though, because that’s the hard part….
