Ooh, mommy, he said a dirty word! Shut up you wuss, and read on. Earlier today, I mentioned how naming your coin is important, and to not name it after celebrities or any (potentially) trademarked names, companies, etc. However, you can also take the approach of naming a coin after something as old as the street. In this case, sex. Are you getting warm yet?
The reason why Sexcoin, or SXC as it’s known for because people are afraid to use the word “sex” it seems, is so undervalued is partially because of it’s name. People automatically associate it with erotic or pornographic content or services. But there is a lot more to Sexcoin than meets the eye, as it can also be used for sex toys, erotic novels, and so on. I’m not turning you on, am I?
However! There are also some other shops, including my own webshop CryptoGameKeys, who support Sexcoin to give it a spotlight outside of the “adult” industry. And that’s a good thing, because Sexcoin is the third most used payment option on my webshop, where people buy CD keys for games, as well as PSN codes and Xbox Live Membership.
I can only hope to see a bigger variety of shops accepting Sexcoin, either directly or through Coinpayments. If you are intrigued by it, head on over to their official BitcoinTalk topic, and check it out for yourself! Oh, and people, keep those trousers on please….
Witty, and commonsense, good article.
Great story, love the Sexcoin, one day it will be worth $5 each.
