As the world keeps evolving and new innovations occur on a frequent basis, the Cryptocurrency world is evolving alongside. As there are already plenty of exchanges out there, it’s not always that easy to find one that is GOOD. Most are ranging from “useless” to “mediocre” , others shut down (temporarily) when they start to get popular….But there are a few exchanges currently in BETA phase, and one of them is called OpenEx.
OpenEx was unveiled on January 7th, little over two days ago. I want to remind everyone reading this that the exchange is currently still in BETA, so if there are any bugs or issues, please report them to the OpenEx Staff.
One of the things I like about OpenEx so far , even though it still is in BETA, is the different Crypto coins listed there right now. Some of them haven’t even been picked up on any exchange, so in that regard, OpenEx is providing a premium service for some of the “overlooked” altcoins out there.
Signing up for an account is easy and painless, exactly the way we like. You can start using your OpenEx account from the get-go and make some deposits to start trading!
Once everything is smoothed out, OpenEx is planning to sell some shares on the CryptoStocks platform. This is something I’m personally looking forward to , because a little passive income can go a long way really. Once these shares are available, we will let you know in a future article.
There are two ways to keep up with the OpenEx development : through Twitter (@_OpenEx_) and on the BitcoinTalk Forums.
For a bigger in-depth look into open source nature of OpenEx, make sure to check out our free digital magazine on january 30th. We will have allt he details and we’ll do our best to get some small interviews from staff members.
It’s the first to have SKC and 42, so it’s nice to have it!
Seems weird to have an open source codebase yet not to include the core files that make this whole thing work. By removing the trading engine, you defeat the purpose of the open source code.
