The CoinEx exchange has been under maintenance for nearly 36 hours now, due to a “security issue” they have to investigate.
Now, I’m not in favor of spreading any rumours here, but I , like many others, also have some funds there that I want to access as soon as possible.
However, don’t you guys find it intriguing that both CryptoAve and CoinEx have gone into maintenance mode in a span of about 48 hours?
No, i’m not saying they are the same people or coders, but I’m just pointing out two big exchanges that have been hit. That’s as far as this comparison goes.
It looks like somebody is deliberately targeting exchanges in order to either make them look very weak and stupid, or just to screw over a lot of people.
Granted, it could all be someone trying to point out flaws in the system for the betterment of all its users, but does anyone believe that, honestly?
A lot of people are blaming certain members on BitcoinTalk for trying to exploit websites or coins, thus creating a huge mess for everyone else. I’m not going to call out names or point out fingers, if you really want to know, do some research.
As long as we have no proof of who’s behind this, or what the exact cause is, we shouldn’t make any accusations we can’t back up though.
Let’s just all hope the issues will be resolved soon, so we can all get to our funds and start making money again.
