It happens very rarely when I wake up at 7:30 AM (GMT+1), that I feel the urge to do a crypto news article right away. This is one of those rare cases though, because NobleCoin deserves the spotlight right now.
As you may have noticed, I am a big fan of NobleCoin in its own right. It’s not just another clone, it actually wants to bring out the good in people. Being noble is what it’s all about, both in the usage of this coin, as well as in the team behind it.
A lot of people have overlooked, and probably will keep overlooking NobleCoin. Why? Because of its name? Because it’s not a pump-and-dump coin you can make a quick profit off of? Or maybe because there is no controversy surrounding NobleCoin, and you find it boring?
That will all chance soon, do not worry. NobleCoin has proven it is here to stay, and yesterday afternoon, people started taking notice. What started out as a pump-and-dump of the the NobleCoin price actually became an upward price correction on the Poloniex exchange.
With nearly 150 Bitcoin in 24 hour trading volume on Poloniex, NobleCoin pretty much exploded on the charts. Whereas the normal (undervalued) price for 1 NOBL was around the 17-20 Satoshi mark, it is currently sitting between 70 and 78 Satoshi.
Many people, including myself I must admit, expected the price to drop again overnight, but it held steady, and there is still very little NOBL being sold, so the price could go up again towards the high 70 and maybe even low 80 Satoshi.
It was long overdue for NobleCoin to finally get noticed by the big crypto crowd. But as I said before, there were no scams involved, no IPO, no bribing of exchanges to list NobleCoin (sorry Cryptsy) , just straight up determination and efforts.
NobleCoin was one of the first altcoins to make a crypto currency donation to The Water Project. NobleCoin is also one of the very few coins who have opened up their own marketplace, filled it with goods people care about, and managed to stay afloat.
Rofo, the NobleCoin developer, wrote a very interesting must read document a few weeks ago, called “The State of Alternative Cryptocurrency : An Introduction to the Alternative Cryptocurrency Scene, Its Inner Workings & NobleCoin Moving Forward” (click here to view the PDF)
If you had even seen half of what NobleCoin has planned for the (near) future, you would simply be in awe. I could tell you about it for hours on end, but I do feel like you should make your own decision on whether or not you want to know about it.
So if you are getting interested in NobleCoin, and I sincerely hope you are, you have to check out the NobleCoin website, and make sure to keep an eye on the NobleCoin thread on the Bitcointalk Forums.
