Once again, there is a very interesting development in regards to BlackCoin. Or, to be more precise, in regards to how you can “mine” BlackCoin. Are you interested yet? You won’t be disappointed, trust me.
One of the minor grievances I’ve had with the BlackCoin Multipool from day one, is the fact they only allow Scrypt and SHA-256 mining. Don’t get me wrong, I can mine Scrypt perfectly fine with my 2 GPU’s. But still….
No need to worry any more though, as you can now also mine BlackCoin through the X11 mining algorithm. Not on the BlackCoin Multipool directly, but on CryptoAlts, which also happens to have a BlackCoin multipool.
CryptoAlts offers two different mining protocols for BlackCoin : Scrypt or X11. With servers spread over the US (East & West), Europe (undisclosed locations) and and Singapore, every miner around the world should have relatively low latency.
Running on a 2% fee (1% pool, 0.5% BlackCoin faucets and 0.5% BlackCoin community projects), miners should be able to mine a decent amount of BlackCoin. I’m currently mining there myself, through X11, and running at roughly 5 MH/S.
We will report back tomorrow once we have received a first payout, and evaluate further from that point forward.
