Even though we only talked about SIlkCoin yesterday, there is some more news available, as well as a mandatory Windows client update. Plus, its still very cheap to pick up some SilkCoin if you haven’t already.
Let’s start off with the mandatory Windows client update. The new SilkCoin client fixes a debug log error apparently, although I’m not sure how many people that will affect. Either way, it is advised to upgrade your client as soon as possible.
I have also received my first two stakes during this first Proof-of-Work/Proof-of-Stake stage. Twice in about 24 hours sound about right, with a minimum stake age of 12 hours. Glad to see everything is working smoothly with the client.
The SilkCoin prices have dropped by as much as 50% compared to yesterday, but that isn’t unusual with a new cryptocurrency that hits a somewhat big exchange. This will keep going on until the first PoW stage ends.
