It was announced earlier today that Budweiser, one of the US’s biggest beer companies, has struck a deal to give free Bitcoin to visitors of their concert tours. A partnership between CoinBase and Budweiser is definitely what we needed!
Granted, it was only a matter of time before a big company would jump on Bitcoin. The fact that it’s brand pretty much everyone can identify with, only makes it better. And besides, Bitcoin as a payment method for microtransactions is perfect in my book!
You may have heard about the Budweiser Made in America concert series, which started in Madison, Wisconsin this April, and will continue through to August, with Los Angeles and Philadelphia being the final stops.
Selected concessions stands will accept Bitcoin as a form of payment. But that’s not the best part yet! Thanks to the partnership between Budweiser and CoinBase, attendees will be given $10 free in Bitcoin.
Keep in mind this is a very limited offer, and in order to be eligible for your free $10 in Bitcoin, you need to sign up for an online invitation when purchasing tickets to the Budweiser Made in America concert of your choice.
In addition to that, users will also need to register a CoinBase account, as you will receive your free $10 in Bitcoin to this account. These steps are quite easy to follow, and come at no additional cost.
This could be the beginning of Bitcoin being used to pay for more real-life goods, such as event tickets, beverages and (fast)food purchasing. As I said before, microtransactions are a good way to spend your Bitcoin!
Sending us a Bitcoin donation is a good way to spend your Bitcoin as well! Donations are welcome to : 1145iUmdbZ8SAbWxaAkq9oAMFPcoqFUgn6
