We have some long-awaited good news coming from the DigitalCoin camp. As you may recall, the CryptoAve exchange was forced to shut down about a month ago, after hackers attempted to hack the exchange and steal funds.
Today, the CryptoAve exchange has opened it doors to the public again, and trading can resume like usual. All users have to re-register their old accounts though. If you are a CryptoAve shareholder, make sure to use your old signup email address, your shares will be credited automatically..
None of CryptoAve‘s important code is running on the frontend server anymore. Some people pointed out the risk of still running Apache, but this is strictly to run the HTML frontend, and nothing more or less.
It will be interesting to see whether or not the DigitalCoin price will go back up, after losing quite a bit of it’s usual value. I wouldn’t mind seeing the value at least double, but tripling or more is fine too!
